Here's the calendar that call left out.
Medicare Open Enrollment runs October 15 to December 7.
A caller doesn't set that deadline. Medicare does,
and for most people, it's December 7.

If you're in a Medicare Advantage plan,
you get one more change, from January 1 to March 31.

So there's no reason to decide on a stranger's clock.

If you're not sure which of those dates applies to you,
send the form, and a licensed Florida agent will call.
If an open time works for you, you can pick it right after.

Someone calls to say Medicare is mailing a new card. 📞
They just need to confirm a Medicare number first.

It sounds official.
And nobody wants to be the one who causes a problem with their coverage.

But Medicare doesn't call out of the blue to confirm a new card,
or to ask for a Medicare number.
Replacement cards are free, and you can order one yourself,
at Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227).
TTY 1-877-486-2048.

So if that call comes, hang up and call 1-800-MEDICARE yourself.
Hanging up is what Medicare itself tells you to do.

For that card call, go to Medicare directly.
