THIS WEEK AT HPM.

The whole week in one place. What we shipped, what we connected, and what we are building underneath. The Closed podcast on YouTube and now Spotify, paid social on Facebook, our analytics wired straight to the source, a new consumer pillar taking shape, and the engine that powers all of it.

Every dollar and every hour we put into this has one job: get HPM in front of the right people and earn their attention honestly. This week that showed up on several fronts at once. Here is the full board, section by section, with every number pulled straight from the source and the deeper trackers linked at the bottom.

Channel 1 · YouTube · the Closed podcast

The room we are building.

We packaged and pushed the last two Closed episodes, then read our own channel data to see what actually landed. It answered back: our biggest audience ever and our best click-through yet.

Closed weekly snapshot. Press play, sound on.
34,087views on our biggest episode ever (Sergio)
3.0%best click-through at real reach (Brenda)
468,446lifetime channel views
6,748subscribers

What it means

  • Bigger reach, real proof. Sergio’s episode is the most-watched we have ever posted, and Brenda’s earned our best click-through at real reach.
  • Season 4 beat every season before it on click-through, 2.85 percent against 2.62, so the packaging changes are working, not guessing.
  • The channel compounds. 468,446 lifetime views and 6,748 subscribers are an audience we keep talking to, for free, every week.
Channel 2 · Facebook · paid social

The spend that works.

Two campaigns, two jobs done well: webinar registrations from the CMS 2027 campaign, and an owned audience of licensed agents from the Page Likes campaign, both at a cost most recruiting budgets do not reach.

87webinar registrations
$7.94average cost per registration
748new page followers
$0.60cheapest follower, best day

What it means

  • Registrations at $7.94. 87 agents raised their hand for the webinar, best day 10 and cheapest at $3.88, on one proven creative that won every head-to-head day.
  • An audience we own. 748 new page followers at $0.87 average, 62 in a single day, the cheapest at $0.60, all licensed agents we can reach again for free.
  • Discipline, not luck. One clear job per campaign and budget on what already works, not spread across guesses.
Recruiting · Webinar 6 · The Agency Ceiling

Luis took the stage.

On Thursday, September 17, Luis Vazquez, our Director of Recruiting, hosted The Agency Ceiling: a live webinar for agency owners on the three fires every principal fights (service, visibility and growth), with the real HPM platform on screen. It was our first webinar with its own Facebook campaign, built end to end.

The Agency Ceiling, the 42-second snippet ad. Press play, sound on.
5registrations from the Facebook campaigns
2campaigns: seven Southeast states, and Florida licensees
4creatives, two videos and two images
30minutes, live, the real platform on screen

What it means

  • A new kind of room. Agency owners are a smaller, higher-value audience than individual agents, so this campaign spoke to principals about their own ceiling, not to agents about a job.
  • Luis, on camera. We re-shot the ad with Luis on camera, with his approval, so the face in the ad is the person agency owners would meet.
  • What we learned. Three of the five registrations came in the campaign's first two days, and a weekend account outage interrupted the run. Both lessons are logged in our feedback loop for the next agency webinar.

Under the hood · Data · APIs connected

Now we see the whole board.

This one is short, and it is a big deal. We connected both channels straight to their own data. The Facebook Ads account and the YouTube channel now feed us live numbers automatically, so nothing waits on a manual export and nobody has to go digging.

FacebookAds account linked, pulled every morning
YouTubechannel linked, pulled every week
Automaticno manual exports, straight from the source
The loopfresh data feeds the next creative

What it means

  • We did the hard plumbing. Facebook pulls every morning, YouTube every week, straight from the source. That is the part nobody sees and everything else relies on.
  • It powers the recursive feedback loop. Fresh numbers go in, the system reads what actually worked, and the next creative is built on it. You saw this in the Facebook and YouTube sections above. Both channels talk about it because both are running on it.
  • And it is already lifting conversions. Deciding from real data instead of a hunch is why the registrations came in at the cost they did. Every cycle the loop gets smarter and the creative gets sharper.
New channel · Spotify · Journey to the Summit

Justin’s book, now a channel.

Journey to the Summit, Justin’s field journal for agents, is live as a podcast on Spotify. The first three episodes are up with cover art, titles and full descriptions. Episode four is scheduled, and the rest of the season is built and ready to release.

Journey to the Summit on Spotify. Press play.
3episodes live on Spotify
Ep 4scheduled next
21chapters built for Season 1
Season 1art, titles and descriptions done

What it means

  • A new front door. The audiobook becomes an owned channel that introduces Justin and HPM to the agents who would rather listen than watch.
  • Done right, not rushed. Every episode ships with its own chapter cover, a written description, and its season and number. Three are live and episode four is scheduled.
  • Ready to roll out. The full first season is built. The release pace is Justin’s call: all at once, one a day, or a set schedule.
Engagement · Comments · in Justin’s voice

We answered the room.

We read every comment on the Closed podcast, understood each one against its episode and Justin’s voice, and wrote a reply for each. Every reply was reviewed before it was approved, then posted.

A few of the ones we loved:

Season 1 · The Playbook BeginsBrent M. Crawley

Proud of you brother!

Justin replied

Means the world, Brent. Appreciate you, brother. 🙏

Season 3 · Rosie PaulsenRosie Paulsen (guest)

Gracias Justin for giving me the opportunity to share my over 20 years of community work. That is how to get to have everyone pretty much know who you are! Can't wait to see you this weekend.

Justin replied

The honor was mine, Rosie. 🙏 Twenty years of showing up for your community, that's the whole blueprint. See you this weekend! 🙌

Season 2 · Alain Sernaepics1221

Great interview!! How do I turn off the background music

Justin replied

Appreciate you! The music's baked into the episode mix, so there's no way to turn it off on your end. But I hear you, I'll keep the levels in mind going forward. Thanks for listening and for the feedback. 🙏

What it means

  • Every comment, in his voice. We swept all 38 episodes, read 67 comments, left the 13 already answered, and posted 39 thoughtful replies that sound like Justin.
  • Every reply reviewed before approval. Every reply was written, then reviewed, then approved before it went out. Nothing posts unread.
  • Now it runs daily. The channels are checked every day, so no comment sits longer than a day without a response. The same pass is running on YouTube now, and it is branching out to every social channel we are on.

The routine, start to finish

  • Every channel auto-reviewed, every day.
  • Every comment thoughtfully responded to, in voice.
  • Replies batched and set for one approval.
  • Approved and posted within 24 hours, automatically.
  • Just one human review gate a day.
New pillar · ACA & Medicare · consumer leads

A second engine, in the shop.

We stood up the foundation for an ACA and Medicare consumer lead pillar. This one is not about recruiting agents. It is about reaching the people shopping for coverage. It is at the shell stage: research and strategy done, the presentation built and live for us internally.

2markets scoped, ACA and Medicare
6research streams complete
Shellfoundation built, live internally
Not publicno ads running, no leads captured yet

What it means

  • The research is done. Six streams cover the consumer, the market, the competition and the 2027 compliance picture, across both ACA and Medicare.
  • The angle. HPM as the honest, local, human choice in a market that has lost trust, positioned to be rewarded as the 2027 rules tighten.
  • Where it stands. This is a strategy foundation, not a live funnel. No consumer ads are running and no leads are being captured yet. Compliance and the go-to-market are drafted and waiting on review.
  • Two looks, one dossier. V1 and V2 are identical in substance. We built both to get a read on creative direction. We are leaning toward V2, but nobody is married to it, so tell us which one reads better. Both are still being refined, and both can be shown now.

Compare the two directions: V1 (dark) and V2 (light).

Beneath the surface · The engine

Teaching a machine to make you feel it.

I saved this one for last on purpose. This is the part you get to geek out on. Everything above rides on one system we keep sharpening, a content engine built on psychology and emotion. This week we went deeper into the strangest idea in it, and the most important one: you can teach a machine to express emotion in a way a real person actually feels, even though the machine never feels a thing.

5drivers behind every asset we build
Psychologythe part of emotion that follows teachable rules
Reasoninga layer that knows what a feeling should mean
Feltbuilt by rule so a real person feels it

What it means

  • AI does not feel. It can learn what feeling means. A machine has no emotions to draw on. But emotion sits on top of psychology, and psychology runs on rules. Teach the machine those rules, then put a reasoning layer on top that knows what a given feeling is supposed to mean in a given moment, and it can express that meaning on purpose. It never feels the thing. It learns to carry it.
  • Express it truly, and a human feels it for real. The feeling does not live in the machine. It lives in the person on the other side. When the expression is honest to what the moment is meant to mean, the reader feels the real thing. That is the whole move. This is not fake emotion. It is emotion built by rule so a real one lands.
  • Five drivers, one temperature. Every piece runs on psychology, emotion, relatability, meaning and trust. Emotion is not one of five boxes. It is the heat under all of them, and each driver has to carry its own feeling or the piece goes cold. The engine checks for that before anything ships.
  • Warmth first, then the build. The engine finds the true human moment first, then places it and renders it into an ad, a trailer or a page. Structure and delivery can lose the warmth, but they can never fake it. That order is the rule.
  • You can feel it working. This is why the emotion videos land and why the creatives keep getting more engaging. Build on feeling instead of information and it moves people, and when it moves people the numbers move too. Every cycle it learns from what worked and comes back sharper.

What we actually built under it

  • Research pillars first. Real research feeds the deeper meaning, and the meaning feeds the engine. Nothing starts from a blank guess. It starts from what is true about the person and the moment.
  • The engine, layer by layer. The five drivers run through an emotional column, a copywriting layer and a humanization layer, held together by judgment arcs that shift with the drivers, the person and the situation. It is not one template. It bends to who is on the other side.
  • The newest piece: a conversion engine. It evolves with the offer, the person, the drivers and the message, all of it interlinked and fed by the same five drivers behind every line we write.
  • Into the ad studio. That output becomes finished creative: emotionally driven messages, music plates prompted and themed to match the feeling, one consistent brand voice, consistent brand colors, the whole look tied together.
  • Into the Remotion machine. The same engine and copywriting drive the videos too, across multiple visual and narrative styles of delivery.
  • Why it matters. This is why you feel an ad now instead of just seeing one. When you feel an ad, you respond to it. That is why the conversions keep getting better, and cheaper.

Overall, this is what we are building

We are not running campaigns. We are building an ecosystem. Two exposure channels that feed each other, a podcast that now lives on YouTube and Spotify, analytics wired straight to the source so every decision is a read and not a guess, a second consumer pillar taking shape, and one content engine underneath it all that gets smarter every cycle. Same discipline everywhere: earn attention instead of demanding it, keep a human on every real decision, and pull every number from the source, not from a projection.
